Evidence: Reference to them in Amarna Tablets. Picture in the temple of Amon at Karnak of Amenhotep II shooting arrows at a copper ingot target. Both 18th Egyptian Dynasty.
Possible origin of artifact: Cyprus
Evidence: The Amarna Letters state that copper comes from Cyprus
Possible use of artifact: Copper was mixed with tin to make bronze.
Evidence: Analysis of bronze artifacts found throughout the Mediterranean world.
