Virtual Museum

The Online Galleries of the Abbasid Caliphate

This virtual museum created by ninth grade students at Ellis represents the era often called "the flowering of Islam."

The museum contains many rooms and galleries. Each has been designed by a different curator, who is responsible for the collection and display of the contents.

(Note: Last year's set of galleries is now archived, as are the galleries from 2003.)
