How You Can Help
Our project would not be possible without the help of others. The most important way in which you can help is by raising awareness. Spread the word; talk about the situation and our cause at a family dinner or over coffee with a friend. Word of mouth is the most powerful way to spread awareness of any situation; it is the reason our efforts have reached into the community. You are an invaluable help to us and to the young women of Herat!

If you are a student and want to establish a connection between your school/organization and our project, please contact one of the student leaders below.

Of course, monetary contributions are always appreciated. While the school building is now in progress, more money is needed for basic amenities such as light, electricity, water, and furnishings. Five dollars will provide a girl with all the school supplies she needs, and six hundred dollars will pay a teacher’s salary for the entire year. To support Khwahari, make your check out to The Ellis School (please make sure to write “Afghan Sister School Fund” on the extra line) and send it to this address.
